Business Development and Corporate Strategy
Oliver Graf is a leadership professional with a strong background in security, crisis management, and decision-making under pressure. He began his career with Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt), where he served in counterterrorism and on the Personal Protection Detail for former Federal President Prof. Dr. Roman Herzog.
In 2004, he co-founded Proteus.one in collaboration with the Institute for Conflict Research and Crisis Consulting (IFKK), based in Munich-Aschheim.
Oliver holds a Master’s degree (PPE – executive leadership program) from Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. He is also a certified Security Manager in Football (SRH University Heidelberg) and serves as a Security Representative for an international sports organization in Germany.
Alongside his professional responsibilities, he is active as an author, saught-after speaker, and lecturer at FH Campus Wien — whenever his professional and family commitments allow.
Corporate Management and Authorized Signatory
Andreas Schubert is responsible for the areas of security technology, IT and communication security, as well as software-based risk management.
The trained hardware and software developer, certified Security Engineer (BdSI), and Information Security Manager is constantly and meticulously exploring optimization potentials in the automated analysis and control of relevant threat risks.
His responsibilities also include evaluating personal protection concepts from a quality assurance perspective. He is particularly concerned with the protection of sensitive customer data, not only since the new General Data Protection Regulation.
Protective Risk Management & Psychology
Markus Möller is a psychologist and a trained military police officer with 20 years of professional experience in the security sector.
He served for over 8 years in the Inspector General’s Personal Protection Detail at the Federal Ministry of Defense and subsequently worked worldwide in executive protection for UHNWI clients.
As a cyber crisis manager, he led the response to complex crisis situations and has extensive experience in handling
highly dynamic threat scenarios—including case management for kidnapping and extortion.
One of his books is dedicated to this topic, while another, like his master’s thesis at SRH The Mobile University Riedlingen (“Resilience and Coping Strategies in Personal Protection”), explores the connection between operational security work and psychological factors.
Operational Security Management
Stefan Lehrke is a former career soldier of the German Military Police (“Feldjäger”) with operational experience in the context of international military missions and deployments.
Following his transition into the private security sector, he worked in close protection for high-profile entrepreneurial families and executive board members of publicly listed companies, most recently within the security department of an international technology corporation (DAX 40).
At Proteus.one, he is responsible for the operational management of assignments and projects—carrying out his duties with precision, composure, and a clear understanding that discretion and trust form the foundation of effective security work.
Organisational Services & QM
Carsten Ibele is a qualified investigator, specialist in spatial, route and object reconnaissance and former owner of a security company.
The certified quality manager with a high affinity for IT does not view his leadership role as merely following the rules.
Outside of his departmental responsibilities, he is an operational all-rounder with unwavering optimism and exemplary dedication, always ready to help wherever he is needed.
Office Organisation & Management
Sybille Meurer is a certified retail assistant with more than 30 years of cross-industry experience in procurement, executive support, and project work.
As an all-round office professional at Proteus.one, she is equally adept in financial accounting and human resources as she is in project controlling and the organization of business travel.
Having spent many years self-employed, efficiency and cost awareness are particularly important to her. She approaches such responsibilities (fortunately) with energy and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
Protective Intelligence & Forensics
Pantaleon Fassbender has extensive experience as a senior manager at KPMG in the fields of restructuring and forensic services.
Since 2011, the psychology graduate has played a key role in the success story of Proteus.one as Senior Consultant Protective Intelligence & Forensics.
In addition to preparing risk analyses, his work focuses on psychological crisis management (threat assessments, personality assessments from a distance).
Pantaleon Fassbender also advises global companies in the areas of stress prevention and resilience building for managers.
Security Consulting and Crisis Management
Michael Sorge supports Proteus.one in providing professional consulting services to publicly traded corporations, family-owned businesses, and sports organizations in the areas of strategic security and crisis management—including matters beyond executive protection.
He was a member of the Baden-Württemberg police forces in various functions. Following his move into the private sector, Michael held positions as team leader of the in-house consulting unit of Bayer AG and Global Chief Security Officer of the Group before he advanced to become a member of the top management circle and single point of contact for security authorities worldwide.
Lectureships have taken him to the Police School of North Rhine-Westphalia and the EBS Business School. He is still an active member of the scientific advisory board of the Association of German Criminal Investigators (BDK).
